Botanica Workshop was one of the first brands to be featured on our blog, they are dear to my heart. Designer Misa Miyagawa makes comfortable, feminine cuts that are both modern and classic. She takes inspiration from vintage styles but keeps the details simple and clean. Her color palette is always a highlight for me, dreamy neutrals and a few bright bursts like Scarlet red and Ochre yellow. Botanica Workshops pieces are all manufactured locally in Los Angeles, in an ethical and sustainable way. Misa uses either GOT certified organic cotton or silk for all her lingerie and loungewear; Eco friendly packaging, plus natural and low impact dyes. Additionally she recently released some gorgeous swimwear made from recycled nylon fabric. Currently in love the Nami swimsuit in Shell, the cut and seams make this piece so flattering. Honestly I was a bit nervous about being photographed in underwear and swim, but Botanica Workshops pieces have a way of making you feel sexy and confident without revealing too much. A beautiful collection for the modern and Eco-conscious consumer, shop here.
