A mother and daughter duo forging metal in the desert. Bright Star & Buffalo was born from a desire to practice creativity daily and to hand forge pieces with intent. Kelsey (the mother) has 40+ years of experience working with metals. While Natalie (the daughter) studied liberal and fine arts, then went on to work in varying design fields (jewelry, interior, theater set). They use recycled or repurposed metals, resuse their scraps and work with cruelty free and gathered materials, implementing sustainable practices all along the way. We adore their wall hangings and brass hooks (pictured above).

One of my favorite discoveries this year, 100% natural vegetable tanned leather goods, not only does this mean that the leather is free of toxic chemicals but it forms a natural patina over time + softens beautifully.
